Your first meeting

Start a meeting and invite someone, in about a minute.

Start it

1. Open AVAY and select Meet in the bar on the left.
2. Select New meeting.
3. Type what the meeting is about, and your name. Both are optional, but your name is what other people will see.
4. Select Create and get invite.

You now have three things: a link, a meeting ID (eleven digits, shown in groups like 842 1957 3306), and a passcode. Any of them gets somebody in.

Invite people

1. Select Copy invitation — this copies the whole message, including the time, the link, the ID and the passcode.
2. Paste it into an email, a calendar invite or a chat message.
3. Or select Copy next to the link if you only want the link itself.

Go in

1. Select Start meeting.
2. Your browser asks to use the camera and microphone. Select Allow — without this nobody can see or hear you.
3. Select Start transcription so AVAY can begin writing the notes.
