Joining a meeting

What to do when somebody sends you an invitation.

If you have a link

Select the link. It opens a page showing the meeting name and who is hosting, so you can check it is the right one.
Type the name you want people to see.
Select Join meeting.
Allow the camera and microphone when your browser asks.

If you only have an ID

Open AVAY and select Meet, then Join.
Type the eleven-digit meeting ID. Spaces do not matter.
Select Continue, then type the passcode if the meeting has one.

If something goes wrong

“No meeting with that ID”	The ID was mistyped, or the meeting was deleted. Check with whoever invited you.
“That passcode is not correct”	Passcodes never contain the letter O or the digit 0, nor I, l or 1. If you see something that looks like one, it is probably the other.
You can see people but they cannot hear you	Your microphone is muted or was never allowed. See Camera and microphone.
