Camera and microphone

Turning yourself on and off, and fixing it when it does not work.

The buttons under the video say Mic on and Camera on. Select one to turn it off; select it again to turn it back on. When your microphone is off, other people see a small muted mark on your tile, so nobody waits for you to answer.

The browser asked and I said no

Browsers only ask once. If you refused, look for a small camera or padlock icon at the left end of the address bar, select it, and allow the camera and microphone. Then reload the page.

Arriving muted every time

If you would rather join quietly and turn yourself on when you are ready, select Customise in the left bar and turn on Join muted or Join with camera off. AVAY will remember.
